Homemade Tortilla Chips
If you ever have extra tortillas on hand, cut them up into wedges, spray them with vegetable oil, sprinkle with salt, and bake them for 20 minutes until you've got delicious homemade tortilla chips. You'll thank me later.

- Adjust oven rack to the middle position and preheat the oven to 350°F.
- 4 (10-inch) store bought or homemade tortillas
- Cut tortillas into 6 or 8 slices like you would a cut a pizza. Then cut each slice into smaller, triangular wedges about the size of the tortilla chips that you want.

- Spread the tortilla wedges onto two rimmed baking sheets. Coat the top side of the wedges with vegetable oil spray. Flip the wedges over and spray to coat the other side.
- 2 teaspoons salt, or to taste
- Sprinkle wedges evenly with salt.
- Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and flip wedges over. Return to oven and continue to cook until tortillas are crisp and light brown, about 10 minutes longer.
- Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack or bowl for at least 10 minutes. Serve with salsa or guacamole.
